Why We Need Your Documents

To meet legal and insurance requirements, our team must verify your identity, check your driving history, and process your security deposit. Having the correct documents ready ensures a swift and secure handover process when you arrive.

 

Your Collection Checklist

Valid Driving Licence

You must bring your current physical photocard driving licence. You also need to provide a check code from the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency website. This code allows us to view your driving record online. Alternatively, you can bring your National Insurance number and we will help you generate the code at the desk.

Primary Payment Card

You need a physical credit or debit card to pay for the hire and secure the deposit. This payment card must belong to the main driver, who must be present during the collection process. Please note, we cannot accept digital wallet payments for the security deposit.

Two Proofs of Address

Please supply two recent documents that confirm your home address. Bank statements or utility bills dated within the last six weeks work perfectly. The name and address on these documents must exactly match the details printed on your driving licence.

Yes, we can usually accept an older paper licence, but you must still bring the correct supporting identification and proof of address documents. If you are unsure whether your licence is suitable, please contact our team before your collection day.


No. The payment card must belong to the main driver named on the booking, and that person must be present when collecting the vehicle. This is necessary for identity checks and deposit authorisation.


We can often accept international driving licences, but you must bring the original physical licence along with your passport and supporting proof of address. Additional checks may apply depending on the country where your licence was issued.


We accept recent documents such as bank statements or utility bills dated within the last six weeks. The name and address on these documents must match the details shown on your driving licence.


If you do not bring all the required documents, we may not be able to release the vehicle to you. To avoid delays or disappointment, please check that you have everything ready before travelling to our branch.
